Project Manager – Direct Marketing

Recent growth has given us the opportunity to add to our small but mighty team!

We are looking for a candidate that has a few years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the direct marketing, print or logistics industry.  You must have excellent computer knowledge against a broad platform of software applications, primarily Microsoft Office.  We are ideally looking for a candidate who has a good understanding of Canada Post regulations and mailing guidelines.

As a primary account contact, you will be liaising with clients, agencies, and internal departments from start to finish on all projects.  From releasing daily orders and managing inventory for          e-commerce clients to preparing detailed project outlines and work back schedules for print and mail clients, you will be working with several diverse corporate clients that comprise your dedicated account list.

We need someone with strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a proven multi-tasker.  You have a hands-on approach; you show initiative, and you can solve problems as they arise. Direct marketing is fast paced and sometimes frenetic, we value someone who can bring calm to the storm and laugh along with us when things get crazy.   You must also be ok collaborating with furry co-workers as we have an office dog on-site.

Your key responsibilities will include:  

  • Daily communication with clients via telephone and email
  • Verifying client data files
  • Accurately preparing cost estimates for clients
  • Organizing customer approvals for printed items
  • Preparing detailed workback schedules and project instruction sheets for the Production floor
  • Controlling the flow of E-Commerce orders through our software
  • Opening and billing of job dockets
  • Introducing projects during daily production meetings and doing QC signoffs as necessary
  • Attend on-site and off-site client meetings
